Hi Everyone,

Hope you've had a good week. So far things are going quite well. I haven't had any major trip ups except not getting exercise as often as I planned. I have stuck to my healthy eating regime. Sunday is Emily's birthday and we're visiting my sister so I suspect it will be wine, cake and a few naughty foods!

I figure once a month can't hurt and it seems like it will be because Hannah's birthday is next month!

This week I got Zest magazine. I always find it a good read and this month it has a special offer of a years subscription for £15. I've probably saved that on junk food this month! Another special is on spa breaks but I fear I'd have to cut out more than junk food to afford them. They mention The Grove, where I used to work full-time and still do some free-lance work.

If anyone fancies a touch of luxury without the triple-figure price tag, get in touch and I'll give a £10 discount on a facial. Indulgence without calories!

Kim

  2. Hello, Kim!! I came across this WONDERFUL blog via your Twitter page.

I want to tell you that I am VERY MOVED by your efforts to lose the 70 pounds. It is a critically important endeavor, especially since research has proven a connection between obesity and the onset of diabetes, heart disease and even certain cancers.

And you’re right, unfortunately, we healers lose some measure of credibility with our clients and prospects by carrying extra weight. It’s not fair, in my opinion, but it is what it is, and I can understand both sides.

I LOVE the video you put together, too. Brave, honest, straightforward, and compelling. It depicts you as a human being who is admitting a problem and, as I’m sure you know, that is more than half the battle. KUDOS to you, Kim!!

The reason I’m contacting you is to discuss the possibility of introducing you to an AWESOME weight-loss strategy I developed many years ago. It involves the “tactical and strategic” use of products from a 20-year-old company called YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS. Being an aromatherapist, you have heard of them before. If not, here’s some important background info:

I have been with Young Living for nearly 12 years and have become very skilled at successfully addressing a variety of health issues, from cancer and so on.

What makes my strategy so INCREDIBLE is the fact that while losing the weight (between .75 to as much as 1.25 per day), the user simultaneously enjoys a variety of other benefits, including:

    1. Cleansing and detoxification of the body, especially the liver, digestive organs and the lungs.

    2. Increased energy.

    3. Improved sleep.

    4. Increased immune system response.

    5. Noticeable improvement of the skin, hair and nails.

    6. Correction of thyroid function and increased metabolism.

    7. Gradual correction of pancreatic function (balancing of blood sugar levels).

    8. Reduction and, in some cases, total eradication, of allergy issues.

    9. Reduction, if not outright relief, of aches and pains.

    .... and other amazing "perks."

There are a TON of weight-loss strategies out there, but I have yet to see anything as safe, effective, and rewarding as my strategy.

You'll be happy to know that I have decided to write an E-Book on my strategy. For research purposes, I will be employing the strategy myself, which I have done many times before. In preparation for this effort, I purposely gained 35 pounds. Presently, I'm 5'11" and weigh about 235 pounds, so my intention is to go back to 200 pounds. My launch date is June 1, 2009 and I plan to stay on the program until June 30.

KIM, I HAVE AN IDEA! I don't know what your current program is or whether you are happy with it, but how would you like to give mine a good try? I can easily instruct you, electronically, on my technique from here. I can even publish a blog on your site on the topic, if you permit me. I can even train and guide anyone else you may know that is interested in trying it and give YOU the credit. Please think about it and let me know via email: holisticjoe@earthlink.net.

By the way, I think your idea of video-tracking your progress is a wonderful one! In fact, if it's okay with you, I would like to do the same thing for me! Normally, I do the "before" and "after" photo comparisons, but periodic videos would allow the viewer a much more "animated" perspective.

What I love BEST about my strategy is that no matter how long a person stays on it, they still enjoy a myriad of health-propounding benefits as a “bonus” for trying it.

I hope to hear back from you very soon. Have a GREAT DAY, Kim, and I WISH YOU ALL THE SUCCESS IN THE WORLD!!
